SAGE South Australia recognised for recent projects

Published: September 9, 2016 - Updated: November 8, 2016

For the second year in a row SAGE’s South Australian team have been awarded the South Australian Schneider System Integrator Award.

The award was presented at the SI Partner Awards Dinner as part of the Schneider User Conference in Melbourne on Wednesday, September 7.

SAGE engineers Stuart Mitchell and Steven Bailey, pictured above with Schneider Electric SI Alliance partner manager Peter Thompson, accepted the award on behalf of the SA SAGE team.

There are strict criteria for the award, and there have been years where the award has not been presented in order to maintain the high standard of the award.

SAGE was up against a handful of other industry partners who also promote and use Schneider products across their projects.

SAGE was chosen as the winner for the second year in a row based on measurable criteria including the breadth of products used in projects.

That’s not all for SAGE, at the SA Australian Institute of Project Management Awards two projects our engineers worked on also won awards.

The best SA project in Construction / Engineering went to Bolivar Concrete Rehabilitation and Grit Removal.

The work involved the construction of two new Grit Vortex Chamber and associated works to divert screened sewage through the new grit removal system and into existing Primary Sedimentation Tanks.

The team, led by project manager Barry Higham, was made up of tech lead Paul Brooks, software Amy Liddy and construction supervisor Jake Spears.

Murray Bridge Council won an award for the Murray Bridge stormwater recycling scheme project that SAGE delivered for LEED Engineering, a project led by Troy Hemmerling.

SAGE is proud of the team it has put together and the recognition these awards provide are a great way to show our teams their hard work doesn’t go unnoticed.
