SAGE Automation is undertaking high compliance control work with BAE Systems

The project, taking place over a short 3 month period is valued at $150k and will provide a new multi-voltage power distribution board associated with maintenance and testing.

High Compliance work includes the provision of detailed drawings and specifications for each and every part and is common place in Defence work and the automotive industry, enabling accurate identification in the case of an error.

First article inspection (FAI) took place in late May with members of BAE systems visiting SAGE.

BAE Systems, Project Engineering Manager- Michael Obst explained ‘this is the second order BAE Systems has placed with SAGE Automation in the last 4 years. It is testimony to our confidence in their ability to deliver high quality products on time and within budget.”

SAGE Senior Project Manager, Mark Turner, is confident in SAGE Automation’s ability to deliver high compliance control work, “SAGE is well placed for this high compliance work with an extensive project history in the Automotive industry and a number of significant Defence projects including the Submarine Floating Dock Load Monitoring system in Hendon, WA and the control systems for the runway lighting systems for 7 RAAF sites”.

Working with Mark Turner to deliver the project in late May is SAGE Senior Design Engineer, Chris Poetsch and a team of Electrical Panel Technicians.
