Network Audits

Regular Communication Network Audits help to capture and diagnose hard to find communication dropouts which can lead to costly downtime. 

SAGE Service can perform Network Audits on a variety of different communication protocols, including Profibus, DeviceNet, ControlNet and SafetyBus, providing detailed reports for each, in order to:

Control System Backups

Is your plant covered in the event of a hardware failure?

SAGE Service Control System Backups can give you security and peace of mind.

Access to spares is not enough. Control system backups will ensure you have the current programs and parameters to re-load after a hardware failure, getting you up and running faster and with less loss.

We can image your SCADA and MES solutions, including all settings, to speed up restoration of a PC failure or replacement.  SAGE can also provide off-site storage of your backups for extra security.

Testing the stopping performance of a machine is vital to maintaining its safety.  This is particularly true where light curtains, or any other electro-sensitive protective equipment such as safety mats or laser scanners, are used and their effectiveness can degrade with time, such as the by the use of friction brakes.

SAGE Service performs stop time tests on a variety of different machines to determine the optimum distance from the hazards of the machine.  A recommendation is provided outlining adjustments required to ensure the machine complies with the requirements of the relevant Australian Standards.

 

Instrumentation

SAGE provides far more than a standard calibration service.

Testing your whole system, rather than just the field device, ensures your equipment will be operating at its optimal level.  SAGE can also provide calibrations to NATA traceable standards for a wide range instrumentation equipment.
