A message from SAGE founder Andrew Downs

“The extraordinary growth and success of SAGE has been an incredible journey – and it all started with an unbounded passion and enthusiasm that still burns just as brightly today.
The company began in 1994 when I was running the electrical department for Bridgestone. I was constantly disappointed with the poor service on offer from contractors. This frustration sparked the launch of SAGE. I knew that a new, energetic company with the right attitude could do better.
From day one, SAGE was totally committed to excellent customer service.
I know, every company makes that claim – but SAGE cemented that promise by ensuring we only hired people who shared the passion to drive exceptional outcomes for our clients.
Our team members are hard-working, loyal and love performing at a high level. As a result, our reputation has grown and so has our business, with the country's most iconic and successful brands among our customers.
Loyal and diligent employees live our core values and are empowered to deliver certainty for our clients. It’s an exceptional culture and one of which we are fiercely proud.
As a result, clients enjoy a true relationship with SAGE as a service provider.
SAGE started for all the right reasons – to provide better customer service and add value - we have stuck to our core competencies rather than pretend to be all things to all people.
SAGE is now the largest independent systems integration company in Australia and ranks among the world’s best.
We have worked extremely hard over the years to become known for our high quality, trust, responsibility and reliability.
We didn’t get to where we are today by accident. What we do, we do very well.
I’ve lost none of the passion that drove me to form and build SAGE in the first place. It’s a passion shared by everyone who works at SAGE and that drives the outcomes for our clients.
And so the journey towards excellence continues – for our clients, our team and for me.
I wouldn’t have it any other way.”
